OSHA-compliant safety training now available in Spanish

August 10, 2004

Webnettraining, a provider of Web-based, online OSHA-compliant safety and health training, has begun converting programs and tests to Spanish. Participants now will be able to choose to view programs in either English or Spanish.

Webnettraining uses an interactive format. Viewed on a computer screen, programs are presented with graphics, imbedded video, and written and spoken word on a one-to-one basis. Participants are tested at the end of each program. Tests are automatically graded and stored in a retrievable database.

Available modules include blood borne pathogens; back safety; lockout/tagout; hazardous communications; hearing conservation; occupational ergonomics; DOT HazMat awareness; and fall protection. All modules are written by safety experts and are designed to meet OSHA requirements. New modules are added frequently, and updates are made as necessary.
