Safety device warns when elevated mezzanine platform gates are open

Wildeck has introduced the EdgeAlert™ open gate alarm system. It signals an open gate condition with a flashing light and loud alarm to prevent employees from falling from an elevated mezzanine level.

The alarm can be installed on new or existing swing gates, slide gates, tilt gates, or scissor gates. It includes a 120-VAC plug-in power supply or can run on batteries. A single-pole, single-throw, 30-V, 2-amp, 60-W relay output is provided for connection to other alarms or safety controls. A dual-channel processor system is self-monitoring and will display a fault signal if a sensor or wiring problem is detected.
