Band saw handles structural, solid, difficult materials

Kalamazoo Machine Tool’s model H8SA is a semiautomatic, double-column, canted-head band saw for sawing structural, solid, and difficult materials. All functions are fully hydraulic, with a free-standing operator’s console that can be placed in any location.

The operator has full control of saw downfeed speed, downfeed pressure, and infinitely variable blade speeds from 60 to 330 SFPM. Features include hydraulic blade tensioning, a powered blade cleaning brush, heavy carbide blade guides, and large-diameter rollers to ease the blade through the guide assemblies.

Saw capacity is 31 in. round, 29 in. square, and 31- by 29-in. rectangle.
