Circular cold saw features fully integrated automatic feed

Behringer has introduced the new VMS 370A circular cold saw for straight and miter cutting of ferrous and nonferrous metals. It is integrated with an automatic feeding unit. Programming the length of cut and number of pieces is enabled by the control unit keypad and LCD.

The saw's 14.5-in.-dia. blade cuts at a rotational speed of up to 64 RPM. It handles round material from 0.39 to 5.1 in.; square material from 0.31 to 4.7 in.; and rectangular material from 0.31 by 0.31 in. to 7.8 by 3.9 in.

The upper portion of the machine can be rotated manually to position the blade for mitering. A smooth-action bearing facilitates this process to help ensure accurate angle adjustments. The material being cut remains stationary. Mitering spans 45 degrees to the left and 60 degrees to the right, with positive stops at 45 degrees in both directions.

Feed length is 31.5 in. per single stroke.
