Circular saw blades cut carbon steels, mild alloys

August 26, 2014

LENOX® has entered the circular saw market with the launch of the CircTech™ Precision platform. It features a tensioning system that allows the blade to maintain plate flatness and tight tolerances, the company states. The tooth design and blade construction reduce vibration and stress risers to help extend blade life and reduce the need for frequent changeovers.

The blade’s advanced tooth geometry provides smooth part finish and a thinner kerf, allowing for better material utilization and reduced scrap costs.

The first product available in the program is the CM, designed for cutting low-carbon steel and mild alloy steel solids. The blade’s special-grade cermet tips deliver heat and wear resistance.
