Cold saw requires minimal operator effort

The Kalamazoo Machine Tool model C370SA-V cold saw provides semiautomatic operation, with an air-over-hydraulic system to help deliver optimum sawing rates with minimum effort from the operator.

The operator has control over the sawing pressure and blade speed—infinitely variable from 13 to 76 RPM—and the air vise is equipped with infinitely variable clamping pressure to prevent distortion of structural stock. This lets the operator fine-tune the settings for sawing even difficult materials.

Features include an electronic control/information system; a powered rotary blade cleaning brush; a full coolant system; a heavy-duty, 4-HP motor; and vertical column construction for stability. The machine can be operated in a conventional 90-degree cutoff mode or swiveled to any angle up to 45 degrees left or 60 degrees right for miter cutting.
