Cutting saw cuts steel studs, pipes, rebar

Makita's model 413 13-amp 7 -in. metal cutting saw cuts through sheet metal, steel studs, pipes, and rebar.

A large cutting capacity allows for single-pass, virtually spark-free cutting with a 3,500-RPM no-load speed. A tool-less heavy-duty blade cover enhances chip collection and insulates against high temperatures.

Additional features include a quick-release blade guard lever for plunge cutting and a stainless steel base plate. The saw comes with a Blue Steel™ CERMET-tipped blade made from a ceramic-metal mixture that resists damaging heat.

The maximum cutting depth at 90 degrees is 2 in. The overall length of the saw is 11 in., and it weighs 10.6 lbs.
