Direct-drive saw cuts 0 to 60 degrees, 14-in. capacity

June 13, 2006

Pat Mooney Inc.-The Saw Company has introduced the Titan model from the FMB Pro Mitre series of FMB direct-drive saws that cuts 0 to 60 degrees with a 14-in. cutting capacity.

The hydraulic control downfeed and variable-speed saw drive allow the saw to cut a variety of material. The Accu-Cut blade guide system provides precision and utilizes carbide blade guides with a set tolerance of 0.0007 in. with top and side roller guides for support into carbide guides.

The unit is suitable for thin-wall tubes, profiles, heavy steel sections, and hard solid material. It has variable blade speeds of 62 to 310 FPM, a 24-in. length stop, heavy-duty clamping vise with quick clamp action, and infeed and outfeed roller supports. A recirculating flood coolant system is also available.
