Semiautomatic saw contains particles, coolant generated by wet abrasive cutting

The Kalamazoo Industries model K20E semiautomatic saw is totally enclosed to help contain particles and coolant generated by wet abrasive cutting. The 50- by 34- by 80-in. steel cabinet with front and side access doors is fitted with a 15-HP SD three-phase, 220- or 440-V motor with magnetic starter. It can accept a 20-in. wheel.

Operation is manual feed with air-over-oil downfeed, automatic saw head return at the end of the cut, and an adjustable down stop to limit the depth of the cut.

Features include a V-belt drive; sealed ball bearings; air chain vise; 1,950-RPM, 1-in. spindle arbor; and a coolant pump system with dual coolant hoses. Options include oscillation to produce metallurgical cuts in all types of metals, side access ports for long stock, cabinet door interlocks, T-slot tables, X-axis table, bed filter/ pump systems, and air vises.
