Vertical column saw designed for nonproduction applications
The Kalamazoo Machine Tool model C315/350 hinge-type vertical column saw is designed for nonproduction applications requiring cuts in tubes, pipes, and light structural shapes.
The saw has a 14-in. blade, 3.5-HP motor, spindle speeds of 24 to 105 RPM with an infinitely variable option in single-phase, and 30- and 60-RPM speeds in three-phase operation. The saw can cut up to 4- by 7-in. material at 90 degrees and up to 3.5- by 3.5-in. material at 60 degrees.
The saw features a double-vise assembly to provide holding power on both sides of the cut for burr-free operation. The vise can be mounted on the slide assembly to allow positioning of the workpiece relative to the blade.
Standard equipment includes 24-V controls to NFPA-79 electrical standards; HSS saw blade; built-in flood coolant; safety guards; heavy-duty, precision-ground saw bed; TEFC motor; and an enclosed transmission.
