Plate bevellers operate at up to 10 FPM

Gullco's KBM® self-propelled plate bevelers can operate at up to 10 FPM. The bevelers use a cutter to shear the metal, helping to eliminate the HAZ and material warpage. The shearing process also eliminates the noise and sparks of grinding or flame cutting.

The bevelers produce clean machined bevels at angles of 22.5 degrees to 55 degrees on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. They can be supplied with a hydraulic undercarriage to help give the plate a consistent root face.
