Air knives available up to 108 in. long

Exair has expanded its line of Long Super air knives to include a maximum length of 108 in. The company now manufactures all knives 60 in. and longer in one-piece construction to help ensure seamless airflow and decrease overall height by 0.5 in.

The air knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry, or cool surfaces up to 108 in. wide. The energy-efficient design minimizes compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air. It is suitable for use on wide parts, webs, and conveyors.

The high-velocity curtain of air is infinitely adjustable from gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air. The compact profile measures 1.75 by 1.44 in., with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom to permit mounting in tight spaces.
