Air knives handle cooling, drying, blowoff applications

Vortec offers air knives that transform ordinary compressed air into a uniform sheet of amplified air for blowoff of water and debris, high-speed drying or cooling, and air curtains. Filtered compressed airflow is amplified 25 times over its input to deliver a high-velocity sheet of laminar air over wide areas.

The air knives require no power or maintenance and have no moving parts, so they are inherently safe. Interchangeable shims enable the airflow to be adjusted for application requirements. They are available in 3-, 6-, 12-, 18-, and 24-in. lengths.
