Antispatter protects weld nozzles, parts, tooling

American Weldquip has introduced a new formulation of its Quip-Mist nozzle antispatter. The environmentally friendly product reduces or eliminates spatter retention on weld nozzles, parts, and tooling. According to the company, the antispatter helps to extend the life of consumables, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.

The product contains no harmful odors or fumes, no chlorinated solvents, and no silicone or hydrocarbons. It is nonflammable, nonhazardous, nontoxic, and biodegradable. The water-based formula will not plug or clog feed lines and sprayers.

The product is available in 32-oz. spray and 1-, 5-, and 55-gal. drums.
