Blaster unit’s dual drum compartments allow continuous part processing

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has introduced the redesigned SH3660 spinner hanger blaster. This unit has an expanded 36-in.-wide by 60-in.-tall work zone.

The need for a lower screw auger has been eliminated. The machine has two separate compartments in the rotating drum; one compartment is rotated to the cabinet opening for manual loading/unloading while the other compartment is blasting, allowing continuous part processing. The manganese drum is lined with ¼-in. manganese alloy on the sides and ½-in.-thick cast chrome/moly liners in front of the blast wheels for wear resistance.

The unit is equipped with two VK PowerMax 1500 15-HP blast wheels, but it also is available in 20-, 25-, and 30-HP configurations. Safety light curtains with dual palm-button operation are standard.
