CNC for vertical knee mills features simplified navigation system

Heidenhain offers the Acu-Rite MILLPWRG2 CNC for vertical knee mills. It is programmed via plain-language user prompts that are accompanied by 3-D graphic Help forms that describe each cycle step. The CNC maintains the same programming language as the original MILLPWR while incorporating the new, simplified Powerful Easy navigation system that eliminates multiple menu screens.

The new version also adds features such as USB; networking accessibility; solid-model graphics; and a 12.1-in., high-resolution display. It has a 1-GHz processor with 2.5 GB of memory.
