Coalescing system helps extend coolant performance

July 3, 2014

Zebra Skimmers offers the FZ17 Coalescer, an industrial coalescing system that combines interchangeable flow restrictors, adjustable tramp oil weir and collection chamber, and a T strainer filter designed to prevent large debris from entering the system.

It removes tramp oils from machine coolant sumps while introducing oxygen back into the sump, slowing down the process of bacteria becoming established.

The user places the intake device into a machine coolant sump, plugs in the unit, and waits for tramp oils to accumulate in the oil-collection chamber. Several different intake devices are available as well as 110-V, 220-V, or air pump action.
