Corner former accommodates all formable materials

ACF offers a multiflex corner former that cold-forms corners seamlessly with no welding, grinding, or finishing necessary. The flexible machine can accommodate any formable material, including galvanized, prepainted, and precoated, with thicknesses from 0.5 to 5 mm, corner angles of 60 to 150 degrees, and corner radii of 2 to 100 mm.

Features include fast corner rounding, high volumes with low cycle times, low tooling costs, single-operator use, the elimination of abrasives and consumables, quiet operation, and space-saving design (1.5 m2), according to the company.

The cycle time for corner rounding and cutting is about 8 sec. The MF25/50/100 series can form the four corners of any panel in about 52 sec. Materials can be formed to any desired shape or corner radius. For mass production and high-speed rounding, the company offers a Variform model with accelerated cycle times for faster production.
