Diagnostic system allows filtration units monitoring via website

Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has introduced a web-based system for dust collection diagnostics. The GoldLink™ system monitors four preset analog inputs and 16 preset digital inputs.

Designed for facilities that do not have building management systems, it is suitable for companies with many remote dust collectors, 24/7 operating schedules, and sensitive applications and those that are required to generate reports for regulatory bodies such as OSHA.

The unit ships preprogrammed and is installed and connected to the Internet, creating a tunnel for data to be sent to the Camfil APC server. Data is packaged in a usable format that allows customers and other authorized personnel to monitor the health of their filtration systems via website.

The system monitors filter pressure drop, airflow velocity, emissions, fan and VFD run status, and explosion protection devices. It sends messages directly to the user when these devices reach critical set points so that preventive maintenance can be performed when needed.
