ERP add-on helps ensure production workers have most current document versions
Global Shop Solutions offers the Version Management System (VMS). It is an add-on to the patented Document Control™ ERP module, which attaches documents to jobs and work centers electronically. It offers several new document security features to help ensure production workers have the most current version for every job.
Files are stored directly in the database to protect document and data integrity. Multiple versions of files can be stored simultaneously, allowing for a version history of each file. Users can reference or roll back to older file versions to see historical changes on all documents.
Check-in/check-out functionality makes it impossible for two users to change a file at the same time. Users can protect their information with individual and group-level permissions and limit document exposure with print and e-mail security options.
