Filter delivers HEPA performance with MERV 16 rating

Tri-Mer Corp.’s Tri-Flow Compact filter technology for submicron particulate and fumes has a MERV 16 rating and is designed to deliver HEPA filter-quality performance.
According to the manufacturer, the system provides two to three times more filtration area than filter bags with efficiencies of 99.999 percent on 0.5-micron and larger particles by weight. The large surface area and small envelope make the filters suitable for applications including foundries, powder coating, and laser cutting.
Pleated and continuously bonded media is tailored to the application. Options include polyester felt hydrophobic/oleophobic; polyester felt antistatic; high-temp antistatic; polyester felt microporous; polyester-nonwoven with microfiber surface; polyester-nonwoven with PTFE membrane; and polyester-nonwoven with PTFE membrane/antistatic.
Aerodynamic gasketing optimizes pulse cleaning efficiency. The self-cleaning filter elements have a multiyear service life and are simple to maintain with integral pulse-jet cleaning.
