Fixture supports robotic welding education training systems

Lincoln Electric has developed a new welding fixture designed for use on robotic welding education training systems. The patent-pending, three-in-one welding fixture is flexible and compact, enabling the welding instructor to teach common and industry-supported joints and positions in welding.

The adjustable K4110-1 fixture supports material from 0.04 to 0.12 in. in the following positions and joints: 2F horizontal fillet, 1F flat lap, and 2F 3-degree clock lap. It can be applied to a fixed or stationary table for welding of 2- to 8-in. plates.

Designed from 6061 T6 aluminum, the industrial fixture includes all metal parts on the tooling to help prevent weld spatter from sticking.
