Fume extraction replacement filters feature twice the filter media as previous models

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has introduced new replacement filters for its FILTAIR® 130 portable fume extractor. The FILTEK™ XL filters provide double the life cycle compared to previous filter styles for half the cost, while maintaining the same weld fume capture efficiency, according to the manufacturer.

The replacement filters feature 31 sq. ft. of filter media—twice as much as before—resulting in high surface loading capability. A MERV rating of 15 ensures that the filters operate at a high efficiency and can capture weld fume particles from 0.3 to 1 micron.

The filters can be cleaned manually with dry compressed air. A filter service indicator light indicates when routine maintenance should be performed.
