Gas analyzer reads down to 1 PPM

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Ltd. HFT® has introduced a Weld Purge Monitor® gas detection and analyzing instrument that reads oxygen levels from atmospheric concentration (20.94 percent) down to 1 PPM. Accurate to 10 PPM, the PurgEye® 600 offers readings in PPM or percentages.

The unit’s lifetime sensor will not need replacing or calibrating. The 3.2-in. color touchscreen displays a graph of oxygen levels during the welding process. USB data-logging capability allows the operator to transfer data without the need for a computer connection. Results can be downloaded for each weld and read using PurgeLog™ data logging software.
