Gas nonreturn valves designed for high-pressure use
- September 18, 2014

- Shop Management
Witt-Gasetechnik offers two models of gas nonreturn valves for high-pressure applications.
The 600H model with brass housing can be used for combustible gases, oxygen, and nonflammable gases. Its sensitive mechanism reacts from about 3.6 PSI opening pressure. Its maximum operating overpressure is 580 PSI. The compact unit offers position-independent installation.
The 800-ES model can withstand pressures as high as 4,350 PSI when used with combustible gases. With oxygen, 3,480 PSI is possible. This stainless steel model is suitable for a number of technical and corrosive gases. It can be installed independently of environmental constraints, which means the ambient temperature at the installation site can be up to 302 degrees F with fuel gases and 140 degrees F with oxygen. It opens at 29 PSI and above.
