Magnetic conveyors convey scrap from stamping presses

Belt-free magnetic conveyors from Puritan Magnetics are designed to convey stamping scrap, knockouts, and chips and turnings from lathes, mills, presses, and other metalworking machinery.

Internal magnetic assemblies attached to heavy-duty roller chain travel around the inside of the conveyor body. The magnetic field projects through the stainless steel conveying surface, attracting parts or scrap to its surface. As the magnet assemblies travel inside, the ferrous objects are conveyed externally along the stainless steel slider bed until they are discharged.
