MERV 16-rated filter performs like HEPA filter

Tri-Flow Compact filters for submicron particulate and fumes, available from Tri-Mer Corp., have a MERV 16 rating and perform like HEPA filters, says the company.

Filtration efficiencies are 99.999 percent on 0.5-micron and larger particles by weight. A large surface area and small envelope make the filters suitable for use in powder coating and laser cutting.

Media options include polyester felt hydrophobic/oleophobic, polyester felt antistatic, high-temp antistatic, polyester felt microporous, nonwoven polyester with microfiber surface, nonwoven polyester with PTFE membrane, and nonwoven polyester with PTFE membrane/antistatic.
