Mobile cart holds multiple reels of hydraulic hose

Creform Corp. has developed a new mobile cart design for an off-road construction equipment manufacturer to use in transporting and holding various-size reels of hydraulic hose. The cart, built using the company’s 42-mm pipe and joint system, has an 800-lb. capacity. According to the company, the pipe is 2.5 times stronger than standard 28-mm pipe.

The cart is 36 by 63 by 80 in. and has eight adjustable positions for the reels. Adjustments are made using a few basic hand tools. The cart has six 4-in. swivel casters, four of which lock for transporting and positioning. The carts also can be fitted with a hitch for towing by an attended tugger or unattended AGV. A variety of pipe colors are available so carts can be color-coded by department or specific products.
