NC feed systems make semiautomatic tools into fully automatic machines
Dake Corp. has introduced a line of NC feed systems that can turn semiautomatic ironworkers, cold saws, drill presses, and punching machines into fully automatic production tools.
The feed systems feature a freestanding control panel with a digital LCD and infinitely variable programming, a precision steel guide, and hardened double ball bearings in the moving carrier. A solid-steel top available in 10- to 30-ft. lengths can be mounted on the left or right side.
The user places the metal to cut, clamps it into place, and sets the program with the RS-232 interface (with TS312 communication software for PC). Inch/metric conversion programming eliminates by-hand measurement conversions.
