Pass-through cylinder blaster cleans 375 gas cylinders in eight-hour shift

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has introduced the GC-440 pass-through cylinder blaster. The machine cleans about 375 gas cylinders in an eight-hour day on a continuous flow-through basis. The entrance and exit table holds eight cylinders for staging at each end.

The unit is designed for cylinder side wall lengths from 24 to 60 in. and diameters from 3.5 to 12 in. The blast cabinet is constructed of manganese alloy plate steel and reinforced with structural steel as needed. Two inspection and maintenance doors on the side of the blast cabinet provide access to the wheels, rollers, and liners inside the cabinet.

Air intake vents below the door allow the dust collector to evacuate contaminants from the blast cabinet. The cabinet roof is lined with replaceable manganese chrome alloy plate.
