Pretreatment technology suited for multimetal treatment in automotive industry

Chemetall offers the Gardo®Flex pretreatment system for the automotive industry. Combining conventional zinc-phosphate technology with optimized process components, the multimetal pretreatment system has a number of modules available for the entire process — from cleaning and degreasing to activation and phosphating through to the last rinsing step.

The system allows the zinc-phosphatizing bath temperature to be reduced to 95 degrees F to help save energy costs. It can be used for all standard metals used in the auto industry, with no limits on the throughput of aluminum substrates.
