Protective packaging paper withstands sharp metal edges

Cortec offers CorShield® VpCI®-146 reinforced paper that provides corrosion protection and tear strength. The Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting (VpCI) paper can be used to package ferrous and nonferrous metals and finished goods with pointed, oddly shaped, or sharp edges that would typically puncture nonreinforced papers.

The paper contains no nitrites, phosphates, silicones, chromates, or other heavy metals. It creates a protective layer that does not need to be removed before further surface finishing or coating application. Offering a barrier to water, oil, and grease, the paper comes in widths up to 100 in. to wrap large parts.
