Rubber blasting tape conforms to curved surfaces

BT100-SH series rubber blasting tape from Caplugs is suitable for shot-peening processes such as plastic media blasts and dry strip paint removal, especially in the aerospace, industrial, and automotive fields. The rubber tape conforms to curved and unusually shaped surfaces to protect sensitive material from small particles of blast material and foreign debris that can cause damage.

Made with a white crepe release-coated paper liner, the tape tears easily by hand but remains flexible and firm while resisting cracking once in place. The tape removes cleanly, protecting material from damage during the shot-peening process and after, says the manufacturer.

Rolls are available in a variety of widths to accommodate differing material sizes from 1 to 4 in.
