Sample needle added to gas analyzer

Witt has updated its PA 7.0 gas analyzer for monitoring protective and shielding gases in metal processing. Featuring permanent inline gas monitoring, the new model also can perform random sample analysis using a sample needle.

Three different measuring cells are available for the analyzer: chemical, zirconium, and infrared. All three measure from 0 to 100 percent. If the individually adjustable limit value is reached, the analyzer emits an alarm or switches a floating contact, for example, to interrupt the gas supply. It also emits an alarm if the needle is clogged.

A USB interface is available for data transmission. Additional interfaces, such as digital inputs and outputs, 24-V inputs and outputs, and relays, are available to integrate the analyzer with an existing system.

Data memory stores the last 500 measurements. Data export and OBCC software allow the user to document and analyze all measured results digitally.
