Software eliminates paper setup sheets

Honeywell Wintriss Controls Group has introduced Info Center, a SmartPAC 2® option that eliminates the need for paper setup sheets by enabling press operators to display die and other information on the display.

Using built-in Ethernet connectivity, the software allows unlimited information, including drawings, photographs, press schematics, and maintenance records, to be stored on a central server. Operators select documents via the Info Center item on the system's Run menu.

Templates allow users to customize menu items for each tool. Users also can program links to press documents using the system's function keys.
