Temperature controller is self-contained with power supply

Oven Industries Inc. offers the 5R6-900 benchtop laboratory temperature controller with ramp/soak capabilities. The device can be plugged into the wall as a self-contained temperature control system that has its own power supply.

The solid-state MOSFET, bidirectional, compact unit features an internal power supply and can load currents up to 10 amps. It connects to a computer through the electrically isolated RS-232 communications port. The computer can be used as a connector, and the unit can stand alone once the desired parameter settings are in place. These settings are kept in the nonvolatile memory.

The controller features a digital display for controlling functions, including adjusting output voltage and setting the desired temperature.
