Vacuum pump designed for pick-and-place of small parts

Piab offers patented COAX® technology in a new small-sized ejector called piPUMP™ Micro. COAX is an energy-efficient ejector technology based on a multistage concept for creating vacuum with compressed air. A configurator tool on the company’s website allows users to select the vacuum characteristics, along with a few options for filtration and connections.

The ejector can be used for small centralized and decentralized systems (a few units creating vacuum supporting a few small cups each). With its very low weight and small dimensions, it also can be used as a fully decentralized ejector on a delta robot, for example.

The unit’s small footprint provides flexibility in mounting and use. Push-in connections and a common feed for compressed air simplify installation.
