Water-based rust preventive forms clear, dry film

Cortec® Corp. has developed EcoCorr™ water-based rust preventive that offers corrosion protection while reducing carbon footprint. Powered by Nano VpCI®, the product serves as an alternative to oil-based rust preventives for temporary indoor protection of equipment and components.

When applied to the metal surface by dipping, brushing, or spraying, the rust preventive forms a clear, dry film that is suitable for robotic assembly of precision machined components. In most cases, the dry film does not interfere with use and does not need to be removed, but it can be removed when required.
