Weld gas designed for reduced spatter, slag

Linde offers the CORGON® welding gas series with helium as a component. The gas was developed to produce low-spatter and low-slag seams at high speeds on nonalloyed and low-alloy steels in both manual and automatic GMAW processes.

It achieves these results through a balanced gas mixture with a reduced active gas share. The inerting properties of the helium help ensure perfect weld penetration, the company reports.

All shielding gas mixtures in the series comply with EN ISO 14175.
