Wire EDM introduced
Sodick Inc. offers the SL400G wire EDM. The rigid, linear motor-driven machine incorporates the new Fixed Jet automatic wire threading, which has a reliable threading rate for submerged and nonsubmerged threading, according to the company.
The EDM’s wire tension servo function controls and stabilizes the wire tension during machining. XYZ travel is 15.75 by 11.81 by 9.84 in. The model is fully enclosed for security.
