CNC prototyping system designed for auto, motorcycle shop in-house fabrication

May 31, 2011

Torchmate's 2x2 CNC prototyping system brings computer-automated, repeatable prototyping functions to auto and motorcycle shops for in-house fabrication.

In addition to its main function of prototyping suspension components, engine mounts, and other metal parts and accessories, the machine provides cutting, engraving, and routing capabilities that can be used to embellish vehicle exteriors or manufacture race numbers.

The basic system package includes a three-axis, motorized gantry; driver software, relay to turn the plasma torch or other closed-circuit tool on and off; a mounting plate that is compatible with various tools; and a basic cutting table.
