MTI Systems has introduced a feature-based cost estimating module within its Costimator software.
The current version, V9.0, provides users with feature-based cost models for machining and sheet metal fabrication. The software contains a comprehensive database of material speeds and feeds, work center specifications, and cost models. It covers hundreds of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, machining, plastics, and assembly.
