Dual-spring hanger features built-in safety chain

The MILLHOG® ET-800 patent-pending, dual-spring hanger from Esco Tool lets users maneuver heavy or bulky tools safely.
The two drawbar springs, rated at 610 lbs. each, are mounted onto 8- by 0.375-in. steel plates. A built-in, tamperproof safety chain prevents the springs from bottoming out, wearing excessively, and breaking. Rated at 4,500 lbs., the 48-in.-long chain is shorter than the travel of the drawbar springs. The chain links are secured into milled slots on the plates and retained by welded covers.
