Marking heads help fabricators meet auto industry traceability demands

Technifor, business entity of Gravotech Group, offers the XF510 series of marking heads for identification and traceability in the auto manufacturing industry. Available in dot peen, scribe, and electromagnetic styles, the heads can mark in any position, making them suitable for robotic, articulating arm, rotary table, and custom installations.

With bidirectional marking delivering 10 characters per second, the heads mark alphanumeric text strings; logos; and human/machine-readable codes such as bar codes, 2-D, and DataMatrix. Multilingual and compatible with any keyboard and widely used control platforms, the controller uses a graphical interface for operator teaching and marking program creation.
