Nozzle design increases dust collector cleaning velocity to supersonic flow

Scientific Dust Collectors has introduced the next generation of nozzle cleaning technology for reverse-pulse-jet dust collectors. It uses compressed-air levels as low as 80 PSIG.
The patented technology provides more induced cleaning air into the filter media than other available systems, according to the manufacturer. The nozzle can increase the cleaning velocity to supersonic flow, even at lower compressed-air levels.
