Plasma cutting tools added to cost estimating software

MTI Systems Inc. has added Hypertherm HyPerformance plasma cutting systems to the Costimator cost estimating software work center library, adding "laserlike" cutting performance for estimating comparison options.
Cost estimators can select from more than 3,500 work centers included in the software. This helps estimating teams add new work centers and perform cost comparisons on machines and tools used by competitors or suppliers. These updates help make the estimating system more user-friendly for contract manufacturers, job shops, precision metal machining shops, metal fabricating shops, and OEMs.
