Pleated bags for baghouses help lower energy costs

Apel Intl. Inc. has introduced the patented Pulse-Jet™ pleated bag to help lower energy costs and increase baghouse efficiencies.
Serving as an alternative to fabric bags and cages, the pleated bag features top- and bottom-load designs, two to three times the filter life, 99.99 percent efficiencies, and 100 percent more filtration area, according to the company. They promote surface filtration and dust release.
Several engineered pleat geometries and construction styles are available.
