Stretch-wrapping carriage allows machine to run two rolls of film before needing attention

Stretch-wrapping carriage allows machine to run two rolls of film before needing attention - TheFabricator.com

ITW Muller has introduced the Octopus SideKickā„¢, a second carriage that can be added to almost any new or existing Octopus stretch-wrapping machine.

The unit operates as an independent film carriage that automatically rotates into primary wrapping position when the film is breaking or depleted. It allows the stretch-wrapping machine to run two rolls of film before needing attention.

The carriage does not require an additional cut, clamp, or heat-seal system. In addition, one carriage could be removed for maintenance while the second carriage continues to wrap. It is automatic and designed with minimal moving parts.
