Die automation controller enhances speed, performance

December 13, 2005

The DAC-2450 Die Automation Controller from Oberg Industries uses a platform that enhances overall system speed and performance. It can provide accurate control at press speeds up to and exceeding 600 SPM, depending on part sizes and press capabilities.

The custom input/output interface board provides flexibility to interface with a variety of input signals required to safely monitor lamination stamping die operations. Output signals are all protected and include blown fuse indicators to help minimize downtime.

Screens are password-protected and have selectable, multilevel passwords, enabling administrators to control user access to desired screens. Diagnostic screens allow the user to test or troubleshoot all features related to the current setup.

Other features include motor shock mounts, remote online connectivity, rail-mounted system modules, and on-screen I/O diagnostics.
