Heavy-duty drill press features quiet, vibration-free operation

The solid, cast iron construction of Dayton's 12-speed heavy-duty drill press helps provide quiet operation with no vibration, according to the manufacturer. The drill features a large induction motor; long quill travel for deep hole drilling; a precision machine tool spindle for accurate drilling; and a heavy, cast iron quill feed handle with ergonomic rubber grips.

The adjustable work table tilts right and left and rotates around the column. The drill is suitable for ferrous and nonferrous metals, composites, and other materials. The drill press is available in a 17-in. bench model (#5Z146) and a 17- in. floor model (#3Z918).
